ABOUT US:
Stingray Studios is a new video game and animation company headed up by co-founders Ben Riley and Chris Erickson. The two first crossed paths while working together on cinematics for Epic Games’ Fortnite and realized the amazing potential in a joint venture. They are now putting together their collective experience in the game and film industries to create their first original game.
Chris Erickson began his career at Walt Disney Animation Studios where he worked on titles such as Big Hero 6, Zootopia, and Moana before moving on to work for Blizzard Cinematics on games such as Overwatch, World of Warcraft, Hearthstone and more. There, he entered the world of real-time rendering which would ultimately influence his career towards game development where he’s worked extensively on Fortnite cinematics and live events. It’s during this experience he met Ben Riley who would share the long time dream of starting their own studio.
THE CO-FOUNDERS:
Ben Riley will have some really cool stuff to say about his career and what he can do and fill up some space of the web page and all that sort of thing. It feels super weird talking about yourself in the 3rd person cause it seems like really concieted but I’m not sure how else to make it sound formal and professional. Maybe it’s less weird for others to read it because they automatically assume you didn’t write this yourself but startups are kinda weird too because you can pretty much assume the dudes making the company are also making these bios.
